I visited Ashizawa Kougen Herbal Park located in Higashi Kanbaragun, Niigata prefecture. Kougen means plateau btw.
It was on June 1st, 2024. It was sunny and the temperature was so comfortable that you did not need to wear a long-sleeved shirt.
You get to enjoy their seasonal flowers in this garden as spacious as 3 hectares. It is full of nature and made me calm.
Other than that, I found Japanese dogwoods, hydrangeas, roses and many more. There were about 10 other visitors there as well.
You will find a cafe in the herbal garden, and it is a good idea to take a break after strolling 🙂
I will peace out by energizing myself with these magnificent landscapes.
