I heard that a fireworks festival would be held around Yahiko Park and I went there!
I was sincerely relieved that it did not rain. It was on July 25, cloudy and hot as always.
Here are some of the pictures around the spot.
Because I expected many people would come here, I arrived 3 hours earlier than 8 p.m. at which the fireworks festival started. You think I came here too early? I am a worrywart… lol
Three hours later, the fireworks festival got started, which was I was looking forward to viewing.
I knew the fireworks display would be two hours long, so I had been concentrating on Great Lantern Junko(like a parade) since 9 p.m., which is designated as one of Japan’s Important Intangible Folk-cultural Properties.
It was such a memorable day 😀
Enjoying the fireworks and Great Lantern Junko, I was on my way home.
That’s it for today, peace 🙂
