Hello there! This time I went to Tarugahashi Zoo Park in Tainai city, Niigata prefecture.
This is an amusement park combining a mini zoo with attractions like Merry-go-round.
You can pay the admission fee by cash or PayPay. I am glad to know that cashless payment is available here 😀
I will only share some of the places in the park because I did not take pictures of all the sectinos.
Well then, here are the pictures around the entrance.
Turning left at Reception Lounge, I saw a traveling area for Battery Cars surrounded by colorful tires.
I went straight from Reception Lounge and found aviaries; I will start with Indian peafowls.
Next to the peafowls, there was this domestic duck named Sayu.

Right next to Sayu, there was an aviary for greater flamingoes. They were standing still with their distinctively long legs.
In another birdhouse, where you walk a little ahead from the flamingoes, there were multiple domestic ducks (not where Sayu is).
Next to the domestic ducks is Merry-go-round.
In the vicinity of Merry-go-round, there were grazing areas. First of all, I will share the pictures of domestic goats.
I would have liked to introduce you to a Shetland pony, but I noticed that Johnny the Shetland Pony had already passed away on March 13th, 2024.
These are of alpacas. Apparently, they are trimmed in summer in case of a heat stroke.
After that, I brought myself to a henhouse, which is across from the passage.
There were Japanese macaques about 20 seconds away from the henhouse.
When I was walking in Large-sized Playground Equipment Plaza, I spotted some Yaku Sika Deer.
Other than that, the zoo has a Japanese bear, ostriches, Yezo Sika Deer, domestic rabbits, guineapigs and ferrets, however, I forgot to take photos and videos of them. The picture down below is of two Yezo Sika Deer, whose figures you can vaguely see through the fence.

After the animals, it is your turn, plants; there were a variety of flowers and trees like cosmoses, Somei Yoshino, Sunpatiens, wisteria, dahlias and red spider lilies 😀
Sharing these pictures which I took in the park, I will end today’s blog. Peace out!
