Uwasekigata Park in October, 2024

Hi, what’s up? This time I went to Uwasekigata Park located in Niigata city, Niigata prefecture 😀

My main purposes were to view cosmoses and straw art. This was my second visit this year.

It felt like there were over 30 times the number of people visiting this park compared to when I came here this August.

Straw Art Festival runs until October 31st, 2024, FYI.

The date of my visit was on October 6th, 2024, cloudy and somewhat hot for autumn.

Well then, I am going to share a ton of pictures of the cosmoses first.

The theme of Straw Art Festival in 2024 is the Legends of Echigo and five artworks are on display: Giant Snake, Nekomata, Wind God, Thunder God and Miraculous Wild Goose.

I am going to share each of them with an individual slider; 1 of 5 is Giant Snake.

2 of 5 is Nekomata.

I took them at dusk, so on the whole, they look dark and there is some image noise as well.

3 of 5 is Wind God.

I applied Magic Eraser to some of the pictures to protect portrait rights.

4 of 5 is Thunder God.

Finally, the 5th one is Miraculous Wild Goose.
