Hello there! This time I visited Momiji Garden located in Nagaoka city, Niigata prefecture, Japan 😀
It was on November 12th, 2024. Cloudy, windy and a little chilly.
The Japanese maples tinged with yellow and red looked beautiful and artistic (#^.^#)
I thought there would be fewer visitors out there, but in fact there were a ton of people coming by bus or car.
All of them including me enjoyed taking pictures as well.
Tomoegaoka Villa, which is inside the garden, is one of the Registered Tangible Cultural Properties; it is citizens’ valuable property.
Without further ado, first off, I am going to share the colorful leaves.
Here are the Kannon statues that I found in the garden.
Acorns and maple leaves were put on the hands of the statues as if an offering.
These are the photos of Tomoegaoka Villa.
Mikoji Puppeteering is one of the Intangible Folk Cultural Properties designated by Niigata prefecture.
After viewing the gorgeous-looking leaves, I found veterans memorials around the garden.
I will upload the rest of the pictures and that will be it for today’s blog.
See you next time. Wishing you a peaceful day (^^♪
