Akasakayama Park and Shōun Sansō Villa

Bamboo

Good evening, everyone!

This time I went to Akasakayama Park & Shōun Sansō Villa located in Kashiwazaki city, Niigata prefecture, Japan 😀

It was on November 12th, 2024. Cloudy, windy and a bit chilly.

Parked my car at the parking lot after paying 1000 yen for the cooperation of their illuminations.

I am going to share the photos of Akasakayama Park, followed by those of Shōun Sansō Villa.

First off, this is called Great Pond next to the parking lot.

Walking along the way viewing the pond and colorful leaves, I found a drum bridge on the left.

On one of the signs at the park, it only says “Wooden Bridge,” so I thought it had no name, but when I paid close attention to the bridge, I noticed it says “Seseragi Bridge.”

After a five-minute walk from Seseragi Bridge, I saw “Great Waterfall” and took some picturesque photos.

After that, I headed to the walking path paved with concrete and saw a Japanese gazebo, then took some pictures there as well.

Here are the rest of the pictures taken at Akasakayama Park.

Next, I walked back to the parking lot, then to Shōun Sansō Villa.

The photos down below are the ones of Shōun Inari Shrine in the villa.

If I remember correctly, it was around 4 pm, when one of the staff members turned on the lights for the illuminations.

He said it was one hour earlier than usual.

The red Drum Bridge in harmony with the colorful leaves. How graceful 🙂

Walking kinda aimlessly, I found something like a well.

It looked like it is not used now, but has some Japanese taste and I liked it.

This is called Stone Lantern, which also gives off a Japanese atmosphere. It is artistic, isn’t it?

Here are the photos of a Japanese gazebo in the villa and the scenery from there.

Wrapping up this blog by uploading the rest of the pictures.

See you around. Wishing you a peaceful day (^^♪
