Mikura Bridge

Hello there! I went to Mikura Bridge located in Tsunanmachi, Nakauonuma-gun, Niigata prefecture, Japan! The date of my visit was on October 26th, 2024, cloudy and a bit chilly. This is a wooden suspension bridge selected for one of the top 50 bridges in Japan and also known as a filming location for the movie "Yureru" as well. The spectacular view of Nakatsugawa Valley seen from Mikura Bridge must be instagrammable without doubt. FYI, it is about a 10-minute-walk from Mikura Bridge Parking Lot. So, first of all, I am going to share the pictures of the bridge.

Hoshitouge Rice Terrace

Hello there! I visited Hoshitouge Rice Terrace located in Tokamachi, Niigata prefecture, Japan! It was on October 26th, 2024, cloudy and a bit chilly. This spot was used for the opening theme of Tenchijin, an NHK period drama. Being Saturday, there were some other visitors enjoying taking pictures. You can make a donation through PayPay as well. Bijinbayashi Forest

Hello there! This time I went to a beech forest called Bijinbayashi Forest, which is located in Tokamachi city, Niigata prefecture, Japan! It was on October 26th, 2024, cloudy and a bit chilly. I was lucky enough to take a comfortable stroll without mosquitoes prickling me. Being Saturday, there were some other visitors besides me as well. Shigohei Waterfall

Hello there! I went and viewed Shigohei Waterfall, a cultural property designated by Muramatsumachi, which was annexed to Gosen city in 2006 :) It is full of nature located in Gosen city, Niigata prefecture, Japan. The date was on October 21th, 2024, sunny and the temperature was just perfect for me. Nakayama Shrine

Hello there! This time I visited Nakayama Shrine in Hashida, Gosen city, Niigata prefecture, Japan :) The date was on October 21st, 2024, sunny and the temperature was just right. You will see main shrine stand after you go through its south-facing torii gate and walk up the stone stairs with 250 steps. All right, so I am going to share tons of pictures little by little. Akasakiyama Forest Park Observation Deck etc

Hello there! This time I went to Akasakiyama Forest Park Observation Deck in Agamachi, Higashikanbara-gun, Niigata prefecture, Japan, and enjoyed its magnificent view :D On my way home, I stopped by Kanose Dam/Kanose Power Station Viewpoint as well, so will share the pictures in order. Kirinzan Park

Hello there! I drove to Kirinzan park located in Agamachi, Higashikanbara-gun, Niigata prefecture, Japan :D It is at the base of the mountain and one of the splendid places, where about 100 cherry blossom trees bloom in spring. You get to enjoy not only the murmuring of Tokonami River streaming right next to the park, but also camping and barbequing while viewing the green and colored leaves of the mountain. Nakanosawa Valley Forest Park
