Tarugahashi Zoo Park

Hello there! This time I went to Tarugahashi Zoo Park in Tainai city, Niigata prefecture. This is an amusement park combining a mini zoo with attractions like Merry-go-round. You can pay the admission fee by cash or PayPay. I am glad to know that cashless payment is available here :D I will only share some of the places in the park because I did not take pictures of all the sectinos. Suwa Shrine

Hello there! I visited Suwa Shrine in Shibata city, Niigata prefecture :D I will upload the pictures of a few of the subordinate shrines on the premises as well. Kanazu Waterfall (Shiratama Waterfall)

Hello there! This time I visited Kanazu Waterfall, a.k.a Shiratama Waterfall, located in Niigata city, Niigata prefecture :) It was on September 4th, 2024, sunny and a little hot. This Shiratama Waterfall includes Male Waterfall, Female Waterfall and Sakunadono Shrine, and I made sure of each of them with my own eyes. It is said that a woman burnt herself to death in this parking lot, and it is famous not only for a scenic spot, but also for a haunted place. They say that the bathroom in the parking lot is haunted by a female ghost. Believing it or not depends on you. All right, here are some of the pictures around the parking lot!

Arakawa Kenryu Gorge

Hi everyone! This time I went to Arakawa Kenryu Gorge in Shibata city, Niigata prefecture :) It was on September 3rd, 2024, cloudy and somewhat hot. Uwasekigata Park in August, 2024

Hello there! This time I went to Uwasekigata Park in Nishikan-ku, Niigata prefecture :) The date was on August 30th, 2024. It was cloudy. I felt like the hottest day of the year and almost got a heat stroke. Alright, these are some of the pictures around the first parking lot. These are the pictures in the barbecue facility. There is a bathroom in this area as well although I did not take a picture of it.

Agano River Field of Flowers Park

Hello there! I went to Agano River Field of Flowers Park in Agano city, Niigata prefecture. It was on August 28th, 2024, cloudy and somewhat hot. I was a little hyped because I had not been to a field of flowers for a while :D There were 5~6 other people besides me out there and they were enjoying shooting videos the way people in this modern era do.

Murakami City Fireworks Festival in Limpid Stream Arakawa

Hi, what's up? I took part in Murakami City Fireworks Festival in Limpid Stream Arakawa, a fireworks festival held in Murakami city, Niigata prefecture! It was August 3rd, 2024, sunny and hot. Despite the fact that I got help from the car navigation of my car, it was 30 minutes before the fireworks festival that I approached the vicinity. Because the fireworks festival was right around the corner, I got caught in a huge traffic jam of those who came here for the fireworks and had to keep waiting around Arakawa River for about 20 minutes. I ended up having to go to 3 different places for parking and was finally able to park my car at the river bank which was my final destination. I did not take pictures during the fireworks festival, so I am just going to share some of the screenshots of the video I posted on YouTube.

Joetsu Aquarium Umigatari

Hello there! The other day I visited Umigatari, the aquarium in Joetsu city, Niigata prefecture. It was on August 3rd, 2024, sunny and hot. Since it was Saturday, the aquarium had a constant stream of visitors, and the parking lot was almost full, but I managed to park my car. I went into the building and proceeded along the path for a while and Magellanic Penguin Museum caught my eye. Umigatari boasts No.1 in Japan in the number of reared Magellanic penguins, being so rare that I couldn't wait to take a look at them! I was definitely enchanted by their adorable figures :D

Takada Castle Site Park

Hello there! I went to Takada Castle Site Park located in Joetsu city, Niigata prefecture. Because a lotus festival has been held in this park, I went there out of curiosity. It was August 3rd, 2024, sunny and hot. Since lotus flowers bloom only in the morning, many people came to this place in the morning in case they missed the golden time. Lotuses here in this park are said to rank first in Asia both in the scale and the beauty, and I was convinced by viewing them with my eyes that this is true. I could say "holy crap, it's too spacious! lol." It was so vast that I was overwhelmed. August in Japan is pretty hot and I just walked around the park for 30 minutes in case I got a heat stroke.

17th Sekiya Beach Sea Fireworks Festival

Hello there! I went to the fireworks festival at Sekiya Beach that was held for the first time in seven years! :) It was on July 27, 2024, sunny and hot. Arriving here more than two hours before the festival, chilled out and waited until it got started. Thank god, it was sunny even though the rainy season has not ended yet.
