Shibata Iris Festival

This time I visited Ijimino Park located in Shibata city, Niigata prefecture. It was on June 15, 2024 and the weather was sunny. I knew it would be too hot in the daytime, I arrived there in the evening. I was really looking forward to coming here because this iris garden in the park is one of the Four Great Iris Gardens in Japan. Without further ado, I will start with "Masugata" that stands out in the park!

Japanese Iris Festival at Shirasagi Forest Park

This time I went to Shirasagi Forest Park for its Japanese Iris Festival located in Sanjou City, Niigata Prefecture! It was on June 10, 2024, sunny, not windy and a little hot. This festival is supposed to be held from June 10 to June 23rd, 2024.

Hyoko Iris Festival

This time I went to Hyoko Iris Garden in Agano city, Niigata prefecture! It was on June 8, 2024, sunny and pretty windy. Hyoko Iris Festival is supposed to be held from June 1st to June 23rd, 2024. Coming to this iris garden, I will start with some pictures of irises! Not full in bloom but in bloom by 20~30%.

Nigorikawa Park

I went to Nigorikawa Park in Niigata city because I heard that there is a rose garden there. In the rose garden, some were in full bloom and some weren't. It was pretty hot on the day, and several caretakers were taking care of the roses while taking a break under the tree nearby.

Ashizawa Kougen Herbal Park

I visited Ashizawa Herbal Park located in Higashi Kanbaragun, Niigata prefecture. It was on June 1, 2024. It was sunny and the temperature was so comfortable that you did not need to wear a long-sleeved shirt.

Shogun Cedar

I went to see a natural monument, Shogun Cedar, located in Higashi Kanbaragun, Niigata prefecture. It was Just 1st, 2024. It was sunny and a bit hot. Just wearing a t-shirt should be fine.

Nagaoka Fragrant Rose Garden in Echigo Hillside Park

This time I went to Nagaoka Fragrant Rose Garden in Echigo Hillside Park located in Nagaoka city, Niigata prefecture. It was on May 30, 2024. The weather was cloudy and somewhat hot. Its Fragrant Rose Festival is supposed to be held from May 25 to June 16, 2024!

Fuyudorigoe Ski Garden – Rose Garden

I went to Fuyudorigoe Ski Garden - Rose Garden located in Kamo city, Niigata prefecture. It was on May 30, 2024. It was cloudy and a little hot. Came here mainly for roses and I am going to upload those pictures first. I have no intention of lumping them together, but they all looked beautiful!

Ikutopia Shokuhana KiraKira Garden

I visited Ikutopia Shokuhana Kira Kira Garden located in Niigata city. FYI, shoku means eat, hana means flower and kirakira is an onomatopoeia to describe something that glitters. It was on May 25, 2024.Newborn baby plants as well as blooming flowers were arranged beautifully!

Mitsuke English Garden

This time I visited Mitsuke English Garden located in Mitsuke city, Niigata prefecture! It was on May 23, 2024. It was sunny and rather hot. The festival is supposed to be held from May 18 to June 9. The garden has a wide variety of plants, and I was overwhelmed by its beauty in a good way.
