2025 Muramatsu Park Cherry Blossom Festival

Hey guys! What’s up? This time I went to Muramatsu Park located in Gosen city, Niigata prefecture, Japan, to see cherry blossoms 😀 It was on April 14th, 2025. It was a sunny day. This is a famous park selected for “Japan’s Top 100 Places for Cherry Blossoms,” and approximately 3000 cherry blossom trees brighten the spring gracefully. Not only the cherry blossoms but also hepaticas, azaleas, hydrangeas and so on come into bloom, so it is also known as “Park of Flowers.” Well then, first off, I am going to share with you guys the pics of the cherry blossoms in the twilight.

Ichishimatei

Hello guys! How’s it going? Hope your day is going great (*’ω’*) I went to Ichishimatei, one of the best residences of Hokuetsu situated in Shibata city, Niigata prefecture, Japan 😀 The date of my visit was on Feb. 25, 2025. It was cloudy, had some snow piled up, but did not feel that cold. This residence spans over 26400 square meters of land and a building area of over 1980 square meters; many of the buildings are registered as Designated Cultural Properties of Niigata Prefecture. Without a further ado, I am going to share the pics taken there through the following sliders down below! To begin with, here are the ones around the entrance.

Gorin Waterfall

Hi guys! I drove to Nishikan-ku, Niigata city, Niigata prefecture, Japan to see this waterfall called “Gorin Waterfall.” 😀 It was on Jan. 13, 2025. The weather was cloudy, and it had some snow piled up. It has a parking capacity of about 4~5, but to my surprise, it was full to capacity, so I had to wait for a while nearby. Maybe because people for climbing Mt. Kakuda awaited this lull in the rain as well. Well then, before sharing my pictures of the waterfall, I am going to share Gorin Stone, on which Matsuo Bashō, a Japanese Haiku poet, and his suite sat down.

Shichimen Daitennyo Cave

Hello everyone! I drove to Nishikan-ku, Niigata city, Niigata prefecture, Japan and took a look at Shichimen Daitennyo Cave 😀 FYI, Shichimen means Seven-headed and Daitennyo means Great Heavenly Maiden. It was on Jan. 13, 2025. The weather was cloudy, and it had some snow piled up. It is known for a haunted place or a spot for testing your courage, but in reality, it is not a place with a sketchy history but a widely worshipped place. First of all, I am going to share the photos of the cave.

Kaishoku Cave

Hello there! This time I went to Kaishoku Cave on Maze Shimoyama Beach, which is situated in Nishikan-ku, Niigata city, Niigata prefecture, Japan 😀 It was on Jan. 13, 2025. The weather was cloudy, and it had some snow piled up. When I was looking at some pictures about the cave on the Internet, its naturally beautiful form created by marine erosion instantly got me interested in it, and I drove there as the saying goes, “Seeing is believing.” Besides me, there were two other anglers on the spot. All right, I am going to first share the photos of the cave.
