2025 Muramatsu Park Cherry Blossom Festival

Hey guys! What’s up? This time I went to Muramatsu Park located in Gosen city, Niigata prefecture, Japan, to see cherry blossoms 😀 It was on April 14th, 2025. It was a sunny day. This is a famous park selected for “Japan’s Top 100 Places for Cherry Blossoms,” and approximately 3000 cherry blossom trees brighten the spring gracefully. Not only the cherry blossoms but also hepaticas, azaleas, hydrangeas and so on come into bloom, so it is also known as “Park of Flowers.” Well then, first off, I am going to share with you guys the pics of the cherry blossoms in the twilight.

Takigashira Marsh

Hi everyone! This time I visited Takigashira Marsh situated in Agamachi, Higashikanbara-gun, Niigata prefecture, Japan 🙂 It was on November 3rd, 2024. Cloudy, windy and a bit chilly.This is one of the very rare man-made marshes in Japan, where it is inhabited by aquatic plants, hygrophytes, wild animals etc. Well then, first of all, I am going to share the signs I saw at the spot.

Hyoko Suikin Park

Hello there! This time I visited Hyoko Suikin Park situated in Suibara, Agano city, Niigata prefecture! It was on November 3rd, 2024. Cloudy, windy and a bit chilly. Hyoko is famous as a stopover for swans and one of the Ramsar Sites. I arrived there at around 9 am and the swans had already left for the rice fields around this lake, looking for something to eat. Without further ado, I am going to share the pictures of waterfowls swimming in this lake first.

Yukyuzan Park

Tarugahashi Zoo Park

Hello there! This time I went to Tarugahashi Zoo Park in Tainai city, Niigata prefecture. This is an amusement park combining a mini zoo with attractions like Merry-go-round. You can pay the admission fee by cash or PayPay. I am glad to know that cashless payment is available here :D I will only share some of the places in the park because I did not take pictures of all the sectinos.
