Shichimen Daitennyo Cave

Hello everyone! I drove to Nishikan-ku, Niigata city, Niigata prefecture, Japan and took a look at Shichimen Daitennyo Cave 😀 FYI, Shichimen means Seven-headed and Daitennyo means Great Heavenly Maiden. It was on Jan. 13, 2025. The weather was cloudy, and it had some snow piled up. It is known for a haunted place or a spot for testing your courage, but in reality, it is not a place with a sketchy history but a widely worshipped place. First of all, I am going to share the photos of the cave.

Kaishoku Cave

Hello there! This time I went to Kaishoku Cave on Maze Shimoyama Beach, which is situated in Nishikan-ku, Niigata city, Niigata prefecture, Japan 😀 It was on Jan. 13, 2025. The weather was cloudy, and it had some snow piled up. When I was looking at some pictures about the cave on the Internet, its naturally beautiful form created by marine erosion instantly got me interested in it, and I drove there as the saying goes, “Seeing is believing.” Besides me, there were two other anglers on the spot. All right, I am going to first share the photos of the cave.

Muroya Cave

Hello there! I went to a historical place named Muroya Cave, which is located in Agamachi, Higashikanbara-gun, Niigata prefecture, Japan 😀 The date of my visit was on December 25th, 2024. The weather was cloudy, and it had no wind. Its piles of snow show how cold it is outside. It was nothing but a normal day to me and was anything but Merry Christmas (big smile) Now, the sign in front of the cave says, “It is an indispensable site to get to know life in the Jōmon period.“
