Nakayama Tunnel

Hello there! This time I visited Nakayama Tunnel located between Uonuma city and Nagaoka city :D This old tunnel is the longest as a hand-dug tunnel and registered as a civil engineering heritage. The date was on September 28th, 2024, cloudy and the temperature was just right. All right, I am going to start with the pictures around the tunnel.

Hello there! This time I spent time at Senmigawa Valley in Gosen city, Niigata prefecture :D It was on September 25th, 2024. It was sunny and comfortably warm. Ikutopia Shokuhana Summer Illumination – KiraKira Adventure Island of Dreams

Good evening! I spent some time at Ikutopia Shokuhana located in Niigata city, Japan :D This illumination event will be running until September 23rd, 2024. The date of my visit to it was September 18, 2024, cloudy and the temperature was comfortable. All right, I will upload pictures of KiraKira Garden colored with illuminations.

Bandaijima Route of Lights 1 Mile Voyage 2024

Good evening! I went to take a look at illuminations at Toki Messe in Niigata :D It was September 16th, 2024, sunny and the temperature was just perfect. It is getting cooler, but still hot in the daytime. This event will be running until the beginning of this December. All right, I will upload a ton of pictures of the illuminations!

Tarugahashi Zoo Park

Hello there! This time I went to Tarugahashi Zoo Park in Tainai city, Niigata prefecture. This is an amusement park combining a mini zoo with attractions like Merry-go-round. You can pay the admission fee by cash or PayPay. I am glad to know that cashless payment is available here :D I will only share some of the places in the park because I did not take pictures of all the sectinos. Kanazu Waterfall (Shiratama Waterfall)

Hello there! This time I visited Kanazu Waterfall, a.k.a Shiratama Waterfall, located in Niigata city, Niigata prefecture :) It was on September 4th, 2024, sunny and a little hot. This Shiratama Waterfall includes Male Waterfall, Female Waterfall and Sakunadono Shrine, and I made sure of each of them with my own eyes. It is said that a woman burnt herself to death in this parking lot, and it is famous not only for a scenic spot, but also for a haunted place. They say that the bathroom in the parking lot is haunted by a female ghost. Believing it or not depends on you. All right, here are some of the pictures around the parking lot!

Citizens’ Interaction Center – Navel Mitsuke

Hi! I went to take a look at the Umbrella Sky inside Navel Mitsuke located in Mitsuke city, Niigata prefecture! It was on June 22nd, 2024. The weather was sunny and a little hot even in a T-shirt. I heard that this Umbrella Sky got some attention from the mass media in 2023 and will be on display this year as well, so I got there looking forward to it. I am going to upload the umbrellas first because I forgot to take a picture of the outside of the building.
